I saw on Martin Sourada’s blog a cool Echo Icon Theme from Planet Fedora yesterday. It’s really nice and cute, I love it at first sight, I posted a comment asking for the download address.

Fedora 10 Snapshot 3 released
October 25th, 2008Mr. Jesse Keating announced the release of Fedora 10 Snapshot 3 last day. This is the final snapshot before Fedora 10 final devel freeze and subsequent preview release. On the torrent site you’ll find install images and live images for testing. http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/
The i686 Live is just over 700M in size, so you /may/ have trouble burning it if your media is very strict about it’s size.
Of important note, these images do have a bug in them, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=468360 where some realtek network cards will not initialize properly. This bug has been fixed in today’s rawhide, which was too late for the snapshot. If you use the snapshot and fail to have networking, you’ll need to update the kernel.

Well, I just created a group called “Fedora User Group” in soup.io. Soup.io is a social aggregation tool that looks to combine all your as well as your contacts’ social media into a long stream. It’s a great fuction I need. With Soup.io, I am now able to add Planet Fedora RSS and other Fedora-related RSSes to combine into just ONE and show in ONE webpage.

(Soup.io was blocked in China, so for Mainland China Fedora users, please visit f.pengjiayou.com). Soup.io has a good reading experience, there are no “pages” buttons, instead, the scrool bar of your browser is endless, until you read to the very first item.
Fedora Chinese User Group Forum

A Fedora Chinese Ambassador and core member of the Fedora Chinese User Group, Mr Yuan Yijun (User:Bbbush) organised a meeting on #fedora-cn IRC channel on Oct. 17th. They discussed how to promote Fedora in China through different activities, and determined to set up a forum for all Fedora Chinese users.
After this meeting, Mr Yuan created another fedora activity group on Google, and organised an executing group to accomplish these objectives I said above, I joined in, and other 4 fedora fans joined in this executing group too (6 in all), for the past week, we dicussed a lot with each other in fedora-activity mailing list, and a lot of problems were soled perfectly. Everything went well.
Anyone tell me how to change Qwit back to GNOME native look?
October 19th, 2008I downloaded Qwit twitter client some days before. Qwit is a Twitter client based on QT. My Fedora 9 (GNOME) system has KDE environment installed when I installed some other softwares before, so I just downloaded the qwit-0.6 executable archive, after decompressed, double-click qwit file and it runed and worked fine.
