I was so happy when the interviewer told me that I passed his oral English test (to test my ability of comprehensive language application), even if I didn’t do a perfect job answering his last question “to describe what kind of a person I am”… I thought and thought for an answer for quite a long time, failed and almost lost my mind.

What kind of person I am? What characteristics I own? How to introduce myself briefly? I really have no answer about these questions. “Let others evaluate you”, an idea came to my mind. “Uploading all your photos on the net, and collect other people’s impressions about you”. A photo sharing website is needed, and I finally bought this PRO account for myself.

Upload all my photos to the internet, and record my life by photos, and give myself a beautiful memory, this is the value of the 38.8 RMB (which used to pay the PRO account). My ex boss asked me for password of my MSN (aka. Windows Live Messenger) today, (it’s also used as my primary email box contacting with my customers during the past years), before paying me salary of the last months, and, after my resignation for almost an entire month, when all of my customers’ goods were sent out (orders received before leaving his company) by myself.

I already gave this password to him, that’s say I lost control of this MSN/Email completely as from today, and, I will also have no connection with Tongda any longer, any more emails coming from the email address charles.peng@hotmail.com are not written by myself. (My name is Charles Peng). I will fully quit this business of buying/selling/trading transponder keys/key blanks/remote keys, etc.

Had been working in Tongda for almost 3 years, I was very tired and completely lost all my interests on keys. I am very much fed up with these items, and will not deal with it any more. I had a long rest for the last month, and will probably do the same thing continuously this month… I will have to make a decision where to work/what to sell after September. God bless me.

Dropbox is great, gives you the freedom to work on any of your computers and always have the files you need. Let’s say you’re editing a document at home, after relaxing over a game or two of party poker. It’s as if you saved the document to all of your computers.

Besides all these things I am talking above, Dropbox officially posted some Tips and Tricks as well as some add-ons on their wiki, which give you the ability to use Dropbox services efficiently and creatively. You can visit those pages yourself and look for a way how to use Dropbox in different situations better. Well, after I saw their add-ons page I found a great trick to turn Dropbox into a powerful online photo gallery site. Ah, yes, Dropbox is so powerfull to do anything which you can hardly imagine.

See those screenshots above, this is a cool and full-featured photo gallery, right? Please do not doubt, it was built by myself, using My PHP DropBox Gallery php script, all those photos in the screenshots are stored in my own Dropbox account in Dropbox severs.

To generate your own photo gallery on your own web sever is easy, register a Dropbox account (skip this step if you already have one), creat a folder in your “Photos” directory of your dropbox and upload all your photo files there which you want to share with others, and then download PHP Dropbox Gallery scripts here, decompress it, and rename the file “config.example.php” to “config.php” which located in “upload/gallery” directory, change its content to meet your situations. And at last, upload all the files in the “upload” directory to your own web sever, that’s it.

Having listened this song again and again for lots and lots of times this morning, it reminds me of a girl, whom I like when I was in XFU, I like being together with her, and, I like most her smile, yes, really beautiful.

Time flies, however, I couldn’t be able to see her since July 2006, but her face when she smiles are always in my mind…

Frankly speaking, my blog is writen in English, so most of my blog visitors come from the United States, and Europe (especially United Kingdom), and some other English-speaking countries (Except China).

According to another of blog statistics, it also says most of my blog fans come from the North America. That’s why they gathered together in San Francisco, and spelt out their feeling with their mobiles.

Last month, a girl, who was my class mate when we studied at XFU, said she got married. It was a great blow to me when I heard this news.

We have been graduated from university for almost 3 years, many of our schoolmate have been married, and most of them have had a child, but, I’m still single, what’s worse, I never had a grilfriend. I’ve been 24 years old now, I want to get married too, it’s time to look for a girlfriend, perfectly a nice girl.

I bought a new BlackBerry 8310 mobile device in May 2nd in the city Digital Mall when Linda came and visited me during the holiday. She planned to buy a nice netbook, and came to look for me for suggestions. At the 2nd floor, I saw all kinds of mobile phones, and, I found some BlackBerry phones were sold there, this was for the first time that I knew they sell BlackBerry mobiles.

I am currently using an old BlackBerry 7100V, too old not to meet my requirements. Compared with 7100V, 8310 has much more features that I live and need, for example, EDGE network, it’s faster than GPRS, and, GPS, 8310 has a GPS receiver, so I won’t get lost wherever I am. What’s more, it has a media player which I can play musics in my spare time.

One of the most important feature that I think a mobile device must have is Camera, with a camera, I can take pictures whenever I want, although it has only 200 mega pixels. With a BlackBerry 8310, I don’t need to take my DSC-T500, it’s so big and heavy, don’t you think?

When I got this new 8310, I tested all of its features, it works just fine. It costed me only a little, but its quality is just good. Oh, I wanted and planed to buy a Nokia E71, but I think this BlackBerry 8310 can do all its job, but price is very lower than that.

Boiled Fish with Pickled Cabbage and Chili / On Sunday, before Linda went back to her school, I took her to a Sichuan Restaurant, this is what we eat.

A good mobile phone helps a lot if you don’t have a computer at hand. Last time, when we went to a small city nearby to prepare customers goods, the list I printed was not clear enough, but I didn’t have a computer at that time, I called my customer, and told that to send me picture to my mailbox, I logged in my mailbox with BlackBerry’s default browser, and I downloaded the picture in seconds. If I don’t have a mobile, or the mobile doesn’t have this kind of feature, I don’t know what I can do, really.

I got two orders this morning, about 1k usd each, these are small orders,  just trial orders for my customers. Anyway, I think I’ve done a good job

I’m already bored with this job working here for one year and half, things are harder and harder as what I didn’t meet before, goods can hardly be sent through Chinese customs, and there’s always a risk that the goods might be held at customs in any other countries. That’s a headache for me all the time.

I don’t want to deal with people from South America, Turkey, and lots and lots of other non-English speaking countries any longer, I can hardly understand them, and they can hardly understand me, although both of us speak English, but their English is so difficult to get a generally idea what they’re talking about. For a lot of times when we were talking about a little thing for a very long time, I had to repeatedly ask them over and over again. I think I am driven crazy.

I like this job, I am lovn’ this job, I am doing things that I like, I like being online all day, to surf on the net or do whatever I like. And honestly speaking, I work on the internet and spend most of my time on the net doing lot of things other than working, but I can get my orders, even if I read others’ blogs for the whole day and the whole week, I reply an email, there will be an order.

It seems that this job is quite easy for me, yes, I think so, that’s truth. And compared those people who are struggling for a job opportunity all day, I’m satisfied. Working while doing things of my own, that’s what I always want.
